Dr. Jyoti Wadhwa

Dr. Jyoti Wadhwa is one of India’s leading medical oncologists with over 25 years of experience in treating and managing all types of cancers, especially breast, gynecological, head & neck, lung, gastrointestinal, and hepato-pancreato-biliary cancers. Her expertise lies in precision oncology, targeted therapies, and personalized cancer treatment, making her a go-to expert in modern cancer care.

She holds an MBBS from LHMC, New Delhi and MD (Internal Medicine) from AIIMS New Delhi, followed by a super-specialization (DM) in Medical Oncology from the same institution. Dr. Wadhwa has also trained internationally as a Commonwealth Scholar at Hammersmith Hospital, London, and earned advanced certification in Molecular Oncology from the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, USA. Most recently, she received an FRCP (Edinburgh) and a Certificate in Precision Medicine from the International Society of Liquid Biopsy (ISLB).

Currently, she leads the department of Medical and Precision Oncology at Apollo Athenaa Women’s Cancer Centres, New Delhi. She is also the Deputy Chair of Women for Oncology India, working toward greater representation and leadership for women in cancer care.
